If you are in the market for a new yacht, attending boat shows gives you the rare opportunity to shop yachts in person and compare boats side by side. It’s exciting to be able to step onboard a boat that you’ve been researching online and have the opportunity to feel it out in person. You’ll also be able to speak with experienced captains, engineers, and other crew members, gaining valuable inside information on boats you’re interested in.
Attending boat shows also helps you gain a better understanding of the industry as a whole. You’ll have opportunities to interact with multiple vendors, learn about new products that may be extremely helpful to you in the future, and you’ll learn about destinations and experiences to be had that may not have been on your radar before.
Of course, attending boat shows and yachting events is also just plain fun! You can attend exclusive cocktail parties, taste the creations of chefs as they face off in culinary competitions, and meet others who share the same love and passion for yachting that you do.
