Westport yachts came to fruition in 1964 in the Pacific Northwest. Originally, brothers Rick and Randy Rust manufactured commercial salmon-fishing boats but as they became more established graduated to building luxury vessels. Westport has since become the largest yacht builder in North America. With a high pedigree of quality and class, the highly established Westport Yachts are now built in three separate shipyards in the Washington area- including Westport Shipyard, Hoquiam Shipyard and Port Angeles Shipyard. Westport are revered as yachting pioneers for introducing composite technology and new techniques and materials that are now utilized worldwide.
