The History of Viking Yachts
Viking Yacht Company was founded by brothers Bill and Bob Healey, who shared a vision of building high-quality yachts designed specifically for offshore anglers. Beginning with small fiberglass boats in the 1960s, Viking quickly gained recognition for vessels capable of handling demanding offshore conditions.
Over the decades the company expanded its range and invested heavily in engineering and in-house production. Today Viking operates one of the largest yacht manufacturing facilities in the United States, producing a full range of luxury sportfishing convertibles and Billfish models — remaining family-owned and committed to American craftsmanship.
