About Filippetti
Fausto Filippetti co-founded Pershing in 1985 with Tilly Antonelli, Giuliano Onori and the designer Fulvio De Simone, and when Pershing went to the Ferretti Group in 1998 he took the Italian and French distribution instead of retiring. Building started again in 2004, and the Sport 75 of 2009 was the first boat to carry the Filippetti name.
The yard sits at Mondolfo on the Adriatic, in the heart of Italian production boatbuilding, and it is run by the family - Fausto's children Martina and Giovanni are in the business. Four lines now: Sport, Flybridge, Navetta and Explorer. Filippetti deliberately builds only a handful of boats a year, which means each one is closer to custom than the model name suggests and each one is worth reading on its own specification.
