About Johnson
Johnson was founded in 1987 by John Huang in Kaohsiung and has spent nearly four decades on one idea: semi-custom motor yachts from roughly 70 to 115 feet, built for owners who know what they want. More than 350 have been delivered, a good share of them to the United States, and Bill Dixon has drawn the modern range.
What the yard is known for is volume - the wide-body and skylounge layouts put more usable interior into a given length than most rivals manage. Semi-custom means the layouts genuinely differ, so read the general arrangement rather than the model name when comparing two, and expect the American boats to be well specified because that is who has been buying them.
