About Riviera
Riviera was founded in 1980 by Bill Barry-Cotter at Terrey Hills in New South Wales and moved to the Gold Coast a year later. It has been owned since 2012 by Rodney Longhurst, and builds at Coomera in Queensland on the largest boat building site in the southern hemisphere.
The range is flybridge motor yachts, sport yachts and sportfish convertibles, built for Australian conditions - which is to say built heavy, with the fishing and offshore detail that market expects. Around half of production is exported, and Florida takes a good share of it, so parts and dealer support here are better than the distance suggests.
