About Tiara Yachts
Tiara Yachts is the powerboat brand of S2 Yachts, which Leon Slikkers founded in Holland, Michigan, on February 18, 1974. Slikkers had earlier built SlickCraft runabouts, a company he sold to AMF in 1969. S2 began by building sailboats, and the first Tiara powerboats, a 20-foot and a 25-foot model, followed in 1976. The company is still owned and run by the Slikkers family and builds in Holland.
Tiara is known for coupes, open express boats and flybridge yachts, and since 2017 it has also built outboard-powered LS models under the Tiara Sport name. The largest model to date, the EX 60, arrived in 2022. Tiara began offering Volvo Penta IPS pod drives in 2004, so buyers will find both conventional inboard and pod-drive boats among used models, and each has its own maintenance needs.
