About This Yacht

Wanderlust — 2020 Regal 42 Flybridge

The Regal 42 Flybridge represents the flagship of Regal's cruiser lineup — a boat designed from the ground up for serious cruising comfort without sacrificing performance or style. Twin Volvo Penta IPS pod drives deliver a quieter, more fuel-efficient, and more maneuverable platform than traditional shaft-drive competitors in this size range, and the 42 Fly's two-stateroom, two-head layout with a full-beam salon and dedicated flybridge makes it equally at home on a weekend getaway or an extended coastal passage.

Wanderlust is fitted with Twin Volvo Penta IPS 600, D6-440D-G making 440HP each, a dual Garmin 8616xsv chartplotter package, Dometic air conditioning on both decks, an 11kW Kohler generator, and a 25 GPH Dometic watermaker already installed, this boat is fully outfitted and ready to go. For a buyer who wants a fully equipped cruiser without the new-boat premium, Wanderlust deserves a very close look.

This boat is open to co-brokerage. This seller has chosen to compensate a buyer's broker at 3.5% of the contract price.

- Layout: 2 staterooms, 2 full heads with showers

- Propulsion: Twin Volvo Penta IPS 600, D6-440D-G, 435HP each

- Joystick docking via Volvo fly-by-wire IPS pod drive system

- Dual Garmin GPSMAP 8616xsv chartplotters (main helm + flybridge), radar, autopilot, VHF

- Dometic MarinAir air conditioning — 27,000 BTU main cabin + 16,000 BTU flybridge

- Kohler 11kW diesel generator

- Dometic Sea Xchange 600Z watermaker — 25 GPH

Wanderlust is powered by twin Volvo Penta IPS 600 D6-440D-G diesels — 5.52-liter, six-cylinder marine diesels producing 435 horsepower each at 3,500 RPM. Mated to Volvo Penta IPS10 gearboxes at a 1.85:1 ratio, each drive turns two pairs of counter-rotating three- and four-blade Volvo Penta propellers. The IPS pod drive configuration places the propellers forward of the drive unit in a pulling position, delivering measurably better fuel efficiency, reduced underwater noise, and a significantly lower cabin noise floor compared to traditional shaft-drive installations. Bennett hydraulic trim tabs with AutoTrim Pro control optimize running attitude automatically across varying sea conditions.

Wanderlust carries a comprehensive and fully integrated Garmin electronics suite:

- Dual Garmin GPSMAP 8616xsv chartplotters — one at the main helm, one on the flybridge

- Garmin VHF 210 marine radio

- Volvo/Garmin Reactor 40 autopilot

- Garmin GFL10 fishfinder/sounder

- Intelliducer thru-hull transducer

- Fusion Apollo Series 12V stereo system

- Samsung flat-panel televisions in both the forward and aft staterooms
